Our physicians at Brameast Family Health Organization provide patient-centred, comprehensive health care for patients of all ages. Whether you need palliative care, diabetes education or obstetric care in Brampton, our team is focused on your care. Our physicians are disciplined in many areas to make your health care a more convenient and collaborative experience. From your initial appointment to any follow-up care you may require, we strive to make every visit as comfortable as possible.

Now welcoming new patients of all ages, our primary health care services include:

  • Diabetes education (once a month by dieticians from BCH)

  • Breastfeeding

  • Acute care clinic for our patients only (urgent or acute problems who need to be seen on the same day should call to book an appointment with an available physician before trying the daily acute care clinic)

Uninsured Services Must Be Paid During Visit

Most of our services are covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). However, certain services are not covered by OHIP and should be paid for at the time of your visit, including:


  • Department of Transport medicals

  • Injectable medications, such as cortisone, analgesics

  • Notes for back to work/school/absence

  • Removal of benign skin lesions (e.g. moles, warts, cysts)

  • Transfer of medical records

  • Insurance forms

  • Missed appointments

  • Travel medicine, including consults and injections

How Travel Medicines/Vaccinations Work

If you’re going to be traveling, you may require certain medications or vaccinations prior to your trip. Please download and complete this pre-screening form at least 24 hours before your appointment so your physician can better counsel you. You may also visit the Public Health Agency of Canada website for more specific information about public/travel health guidelines depending upon your destination.
